So today's topic of discussion is about ANNOUNCEMENT📢📣. 

Before starting the discussion let me ask you guys. Do you know what an Announcement is? What are the steps for making an Announcement? okay without wasting any more time let's start today's discussion

Announcement is a statement both written and oral containing information about an information or thing that has happened or will happen. This announcement can be formal or informal. 

✪Types of Announcement Text✪

There are many types of Announcement Text, some of which are as follows:

- Minutes of weddings and birthdays;

- Job vacancy;

- Appeal from the government

- Announcement of missing persons;

- Obituary;

- Graduation announcements, and so on.

✷Announcement Text Function✷

Announcement Text serves to provide information to the reader about an event or thing. This information can be addressed to the general public or to a particular group of people, such as residents of an area, employees of an office, students of a school, and others.

✧Generic Structure of Announcement Text✧

Generic structure in this text also varies depending on the type of Announcement Text. However, the usual generic structure in this text is:

State the purpose (purpose)

Informing the purpose of this text.

Declare time (time)

Inform the time such as the day and date the event takes place

Declare a place

Informing where the event takes place

Declare the executor (contact person)

Inform who is the organizer of the event or contact person.
